It’s Time to Meet the Circus Crew

October 24, 2008

in About Me

I am all about keeping it real, folks.  And Jessica at Farm Fresh Iowa has a carnival called, It’s Real Life which I totally love because it’s all about showing the real you.  This week the assignment is to create a real life video introducing yourself to the blogging world.

I wish I could tell you that we staged the video because I just thought it would be so funny for you to see my kids fighting with each other while I am videoing.  Yea… there is not acting in this video… it is truly, the real thing.

For better or for worse.

If the video leaves you wanting to know more about me, click here for my about page with many fun details about life at the circus.

And check out Heart of the Matter, if you wanna see some more bloggers in real life.

That was just awesome!! You are the most real person I know. And your family is wonderful! I love that your kids were crawling all over you here. I am so glad that I have found you and your blog. You make me laugh and challenge me to be a better mom in my own circus.

That is too funny! Although, I am going to have to come back later, because I could hardly hear you over the crying of my infant.

I’m so glad to see you in action.

What a good idea to include the kids! They are adorable! It was great to see you. Thanks for participating.

That was so funny! But it’s cool to see everyone “for real.” Great video with the circus performers all over you! :D

This video was truly awesome. Your son had me cracking up, licking the screen! That’s too funny. Now we know how truly appropriate your blog name is :)

Your son is such a first born! Ella would have been doing the same thing – trying to take over and have her voice heard. I cracked up when your daughter fell….definitely couldn’t have staged that!

YAY thanks for participating!

Love the “keeping it real” video! I also like all the references to chocolate. :D

Oh my heck, that was hilarious. I had to laugh outloud and my boys came running to see, “What’s so funny mom?” so I had to start it over and watch the video not just once, but twice so my kids (also crawling all over my lap) could see.

My boys loved your son. They asked if he could come over and play.

I think that’s a video for another day! ;)

That is so funny! If my kids were younger then I am quite sure that they would be crawling all over me too. Now they run away. They know I’ll make them do chores or school work. :)

I enjoyed meeting your family! I hope we get to do many more of these!

LOL and LOL again. Although it often “sounds” like that everytime we chat on the phone – it was too funny to “see” it!! Keep up the great circus blogging.

How cute! your blog is so neat! I’m sure i will come back again. I stole one of your quotes from your sidebar and posted it on my blog. I hope you don’t mind i couldn’t resist! IT was nice to somewhat meet you:)

That is way too funny. I also laughed out loud when your little girl fell. Bless her heart, I’m glad she wasn’t hurt because then I would have felt bad for laughing at her!

Enjoy these crazy, wild, full days. They will be gone all too quickly.

i’m dizzy! that was definitely a keepin-it-real video. loved your daughter falling (literally) out of the shot. and, of course, your oldest being very proud of his “likes” and spelling his name. what a great family i have. :)
