Yep, I agree

Tiff@Three Peas November 12, 2008 at 1:18 am

Yep learned that the hard way too!

Renée aka Mekhismom November 12, 2008 at 1:18 am

Oh dear. That is not nice. No, not nice at all. Luvs are good and inexpensive.

Monica November 12, 2008 at 1:56 am

Oh, NO!!! I can’t tell you how many times I had to change myself when Will was a baby…he was king of the blowout!

Shelley November 12, 2008 at 3:14 am

Oops! I had some of those moments with generic diapers. Now we cloth diaper so I don’t have to worry about it.

One Mom November 12, 2008 at 7:16 am

I just hate when that happens!

Heather @ Mrs. Momma November 12, 2008 at 8:08 am

Yeah, been there, too. :)

AmyG November 12, 2008 at 8:17 am

I think that’s a rite of passage for every Mom! lol

sheila November 12, 2008 at 9:40 am

Ahhh, memories! LOL. Funny pic! I remember those days. ;o)

Shan November 12, 2008 at 10:08 am

I’ve been there too and yet, I’d rather buy a box for $14 rather than $20.

susieshomemade November 12, 2008 at 10:20 am

Yikes!! Sometimes, generic is NOT the same! We found out the hard way too:-(

boqpod November 12, 2008 at 10:35 am

HAHAHA! UH OH!

Undercover Princess November 12, 2008 at 10:47 am

Makes me glad we are out of the diaper phase…

Janel November 12, 2008 at 11:00 am

Oh, so sad. Glad to be finished with diapers for sure.
Happy WW!

Jen E @ mommablogsalot November 12, 2008 at 11:16 am

Oh yes I have to agree – as an infant it was Pampers or bust. At age 2 we switched to Luvs, but it was because we preferred them for some reason – the cheapness was just a fringe benefit – and it still isn’t generic.

Amy November 12, 2008 at 11:38 am

Oh my! Gotta be pampers or luvs. And I find that the pull ups leak as well.
Sorry about your jeans!

Cascia @ Healthy Moms November 12, 2008 at 11:45 am

I agree with you on that one! I can not use those cheap diapers on my son. They always leak. Happy WW! mine is up.

Frugal Carol November 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm

I thought that about some name brand diapers too. I think you always need to find the diaper that fits your kid best. Kind of like women and jeans.

Rebecca November 12, 2008 at 1:01 pm

Did you wet yourself again???

Honestly, you could splurge for the Pampers for yourself, couldn’t ya???

Sorry…I had to. I couldn’t help myself.

I hate it when that happnes, for real though.

Ick.

Gotta go…I’m on throw up patrol today. Yippee!

Jen November 12, 2008 at 1:12 pm

Oh no- diaper leaks are for the birds!

Happy WW! =)

jayedee November 12, 2008 at 1:17 pm

oh man! how well i remember! happy ww!

Rhonda November 12, 2008 at 1:41 pm

I have to say that we’ve always, always used the yellow WalMart brand (Parents Choice I believe) and never once had a leak. Maybe my kids just don’t pee-pee a lot! :)

Mudpies And Mary Janes November 12, 2008 at 2:18 pm

Yikes. I would be switching diaper brands really fast!

Beth November 12, 2008 at 2:41 pm

Yup, pampers it is!

Jeanette November 12, 2008 at 2:53 pm

Oh dear, that looks familiar! LOL!

Corrina November 12, 2008 at 3:47 pm

It took the fourth child to say, “Absolutely not” to generic. I am tempted, but my husband simply reminds me of history. Saving money or saving sanity, and carpets, and sheets, and in your case, jeans. It’s a simple not so simple decision:)

Jen November 12, 2008 at 3:52 pm

Been there! As far as diapers go..I buy White Cloud..they’re not bad at all and not nearly as expensive as Pampers and Huggies. Although, I do have to buy the Huggies overnights..otherwise I’m washing crib bedding every morning!

Kolfinnas Korner November 12, 2008 at 4:53 pm

Ugh….I remember those days. Happy WW

Kimberly/Mom in the City November 12, 2008 at 5:08 pm

That’s funny! (Although name brand ones leak sometimes too!)

Lydia @ On The Verge November 12, 2008 at 5:16 pm

I can’t even count how many times that has happened to me. No more generics!! Happy WW!

Land of Lovings November 12, 2008 at 5:34 pm

Yeah, that is no fun at all. I finally learned my lesson the hard way, too. Funny thing, though, when my daughter turned one she could wear generics no problem without every having to worry about a leak. So weird…

Happy WW!

supermommy November 12, 2008 at 6:44 pm

Oh what fun!

Meg Munson November 12, 2008 at 9:16 pm

Couldn’t agree more. Luvs or Pampers are for me!!!

McMommy November 12, 2008 at 10:48 pm

I really really hope it wasn’t the Target brand that did that you. They were my last hope for generic diapers…

Deb - Mom of 3 Girls November 13, 2008 at 1:19 am

Oh yes, I totally agree. And well remember the days… :) Happy WW!
